An Descubierto la cura para el mortal virus SIDA? De acuerdo con los científicos australianos, una proteína del VIH fue modificado de tal manera de detiene el virus del SIDA que se formen o redupliquen. El grupo cree que esto podría ser el comienzo de una posible cura para el síndrome de inmunodeficiencia adquirida.
Citando un informe el 24 de enero de NewsFix a través de AOL News, investigadores australianos informaron el descubrimiento después de darse cuenta de cómo la proteína detuvo el proceso de la enfermedad "en seco".
"Lo que hemos hecho es tomar realmente una proteína del virus normal que el virus necesita para crecer, y hemos cambiado esta proteína, por lo que en lugar de ayudar al virus, lo que realmente impide la replicación del virus y lo hace con mucha fuerza", dijo el Asociado profesor David Harrich.
